Northcoast's
History
Our Roots
In 1982, Lee Passell leaped into the healthcare industry when he
purchased his first healthcare company, Medical Personnel Pool,
later known as Interim HealthCare of Cleveland. He owned and
operated the full service company for 20 years, growing it to one of
the largest proprietary home care agencies in NorthEast Ohio.
In 1994, Lee and his colleagues envisioned and developed an
integrated network of home health providers in Northeastern Ohio.
Today the network services patients in Ohio and the contiguous
counties from the surrounding states. NORTHCOAST HealthCare
Management Services (MSO) provides comprehensive network management
services linking over 200 home health, home infusion, and hospice
providers to payors.
In 1997, Lee complimented the provision of home health care with the
purchase of a home infusion pharmacy. NorthCoast Infusion Therapies
was in operation until 2008. In 2006 NorthCoast Infusion Network was
developed to meet a growing need for easy access for specialty and
infusion services in the local market and to bring new business
opportunities to infusion providers.
